Erik has spent his entire life boating and is fourth generation working in the industry. He received his 100 Ton USCG Captain’s License at age 18 and has made numerous trips delivering yachts to and from the Great Lakes, East Coast and Florida. After college, Erik spent a year working at the Viking Yacht Company, and for the past 15 years he has been a yacht sales professional specializing in both new and pre-owned yachts. Erik’s extensive knowledge, attention to detail and passion for boating enables him to build lasting relationships with his clients. He strives to ensure total customer satisfaction and prides himself in always being available to his clients.

Ron has spent most of his life on the water. He was born and raised on Cape Cod, and received his 100 Ton USCG Captain’s License at 18. While working through his undergraduate education at Bentley College, Ron served as a charter captain, full-time summer captain and a delivery captain. He continues to serve these longtime clients. Ron went on to earn his MBA from Loyola University Chicago and currently oversees the JBYS Chicago location. Ron’s attention to detail, thoroughness and respect for every yacht he boards is honest. His ability to relate to and understand the needs of his clients has earned him many loyal customers.
Jim Kehrig, Jr.
St. Clair Shores, MI
After graduating from Oakland University, Jim began his career in the marine industry in 1988. After spending some time as a Service Manager, Jim turned his focus to sales. Since then he has proudly built close relationships with his clients by providing an uncompromising dedication to servicing their needs. Jim was raised in a family of experienced boaters and enjoys boating with his wife and three children.
Jim started boating at a very young age with his family on Lake Erie. Jim attended the Chapman School of Seamanship and at the age of 18 he received his 100 Ton USCG Captain’s License. He has worked as a fishing guide as well as a private captain in both the North and South waters. Jim started selling boats in 1999 and enjoys working hard for his clients both before and after the sale.

Ron started selling boats in 1978 because he loved selling “fun.” Racing boats, skiing behind boats at over 100 mph or running yachts thousands of miles around the globe, Ron can’t think of anything better to do in life than to share his enthusiasm to get people into the boating lifestyle. Ron’s motto is: “Whether you’re seeking the ultimate rush or a bit of peace and tranquility, the boating lifestyle can take you there.”
Ryan is a Great Lakes native who grew up on the water in Keswick, Ontario, and has been around boats his entire life. Starting as a teen, he worked summers in the yard at a local marina, doing everything from detailing boats to eventually operating travel lifts and performing technical engine work. He attended Georgian College with a focus on Marine Technology and Engineering. Ryan also received his 100 Ton Masters License from the Chapman School of Seamanship and spent many years captaining and delivering boats and larger yachts. In 1999, he changed his focus to sales and quickly became a top performer working tirelessly for his many loyal clients. Ryan is a passionate boater, has extensive marine and brokerage experience and is highly knowledgeable in the leading boat brands.
Mathew has been involved in boating his entire life. He grew up on the waters of Boston’s North Shore and then moved to South Florida in 1994. After graduating high school, his love for the ocean drew him to pursue a nautical career. He earned his 100 Ton USCG Captain’s License in 2000 and ran yachts ranging in size from 55 to 120 feet. Mathew has cruised the East Coast From New Brunswick, Canada to South Florida, the Great Lakes, Bahamas and beyond, all affording him vast knowledge and experience which takes him well beyond his age. In addition to his extensive captaining years, Mathew spent the past decade working as a sales and brokerage professional and has achieved top performer status with numerous accolades from his loyal customer base. Mathew’s passion for the boating lifestyle drives his ability to assist clients with their most finite boating needs, going above and beyond to deliver the ultimate boating experience while developing a genuine friendship along the way.
Loren is a Law Enforcement retiree who has been involved in boating for more than 25 years, in a diverse array of professional and recreational roles. Loren holds a 100 Ton USCG Captain’s License and a Dive Master Certification. His experiences include: Search and Rescue SCUBA Diver, towing and salvage, captaining a par-a-sail boat, serving as a marina harbor master and delivering boats all over the Great Lakes, East Coast and Florida. Loren’s varied boating skills and experiences continue to be a great way for him to create priceless memories on the water. Loren welcomes the opportunity to assist you with your boating needs and adventures.
Elliott grew up cruising the waters of Lake Charlevoix and the Great Lakes with his family. In addition to selling boats since 2009, he has been successful in classic boat restoration and sailboat racing. Elliott knows the Great Lakes very well from his racing experience and delivering numerous private yachts from Detroit to Chicago. He is currently working toward his 100 Ton USCG Captain’s License. Elliott prides himself on being able to provide his customers with quick and knowledgeable responses and prompt service. In his free time, you can find Elliott enjoying the water with his family, or in his shop restoring another “classic boat.”
