Kim’s lifelong passion for all things boats began at the age of two when his father built him a functional wooden sailboat. That boat remains on display in his lakefront home.

As a teenager, Kim began a 47+ year career in the boat building industry at a well known midwestern company. He soon became the general manager and later ascended to the role of president as the company experienced substantial growth. Kim remained a “hands on” operator throughout his career. He has a wealth of knowledge in boat design, construction, propulsion, engineering and testing.

Kim and wife Suzie spend summers boating on the Great Lakes and winters boating from Naples to the Keys.
