Cathy comes to JBYS with over a decade of experience working in the boating industry. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Aquinas College and worked as a school teacher for many years. After becoming active in the sailboat racing scene, Cathy changed careers from teaching to boating and hasn’t ever looked back! Cathy’s own sailboat is right here at Jefferson Beach Marina, JBYS headquarters in St. Clair Shores, MI. Being a part of the JBYS team is a perfect match for her experience and love for boating.

Last week on Tuesday I contacted Dave Lesh and Cathy McGuire on some service parts I needed for our 52 Viking Convertible. Buying parts here in Canada can be a nightmare at the best of times but with the attention put forth from these folks it made my life much easier. My parts were sitting at my office by Friday morning...which was unbelievable! It can take longer to get a burger and fries at a drive through. Being a business man of over 45 years these are the types of people that make a business survive! My future will probably involve another Viking and with service like this I know I will be dealing with JBYS for the sale...no shopping necessary.
