Michigan’s Ultimate Poker Run
July 10 & 11 | Charlevoix’s Round Lake Harbor
The annual Boyne Thunder Poker Run is one of the Midwest’s premier high-performance boating events, bringing an impressive lineup of offshore performance boats to the crystal-clear waters of Northern Michigan each summer. Be sure to visit Team JBYS in Boyne City to see our all-new 2027 HCB 56 Sueños GIX while enjoying one of the Great Lakes’ most exciting boating weekends.
Friday evening’s Stroll the Streets transforms downtown Boyne City into a vibrant four-block festival featuring live music, entertainment, local dining, shopping, a classic car show, and spectacular high-performance boat displays. Hosted by Boyne City Main Street, Boyne Thunder also supports Camp Quality and Challenge Mountain, making it a weekend that celebrates the boating lifestyle while giving back to two remarkable Michigan charities.
Boyne Thunder Route
The 150-mile poker run begins with parade laps through Boyne City before traveling across Lake Charlevoix, Round Lake, Lake Michigan, Grand Traverse Bay, and Little Traverse Bay. Along the way, participants make card stops in Elk Rapids, Northport, Bay Harbor, Harbor Springs, and Horton Bay before returning to Boyne City to complete the run and turn in their poker hands.
