ISLAND GIRL is a classic 48' Offshore Sedan offering the comfortable ride, practical layout, and quality construction that have made Offshore Yachts so well respected among experienced cruisers. Built by Offshore Yachts and finished with a warm satin-finished teak wood interior, teak and holly sole, galley-up arrangement, and a functional two-stateroom two head layout, she is well suited for owner-operators seeking a capable cruising motor yacht with strong visibility and comfortable accommodations.

Her semi-displacement hull with partial keel, fiberglass construction, and wide 15'6" beam provide a solid platform underway, while the spacious salon, forward master, port guest cabin, and flybridge with bimini top create a practical and inviting layout for weekends aboard or longer coastal cruising. Exterior features include a starboard transom door, full walk-around covered decks with high bulwarks for safety, molded fiberglass swim platform, Maxwell windlass, fiberglass radar arch, cockpit wet bar sink, hot/cold cockpit shower, dinghy davit on the port boat deck, and varnished cockpit teak cap rail.

Power is provided by twin Caterpillar 3126-TA diesel engines rated at 420 HP each. Replaced by Caterpillar in January 2006 with approximately 2,000 hours. Additional equipment includes a 8kw Northern Lights generator, Side-Power bow thruster, Garmin electronics package, Dometic reverse-cycle air conditioning, inverter/charger, and a well-equipped anchoring and navigation setup.
