Description

"Bellezza" is a 2002 Fairline Squadron 58 owned by the same fastidious owner for more than eighteen years and cruised exclusively on the protected waters of Long Island Sound. No charters, no children aboard, no pets - and every winter spent in heated, indoor storage in Connecticut rather than shrink-wrapped on the hard. Her owner describes her in one word: bulletproof.

The original Squadron 58 is widely regarded as the most successful model Fairline ever built - a hand-laid British flybridge motor yacht whose fit and finish sits as close to semi-custom as the production world offers. Sumptuous furnishings, hand-worked cherry joinery, a light-filled single-level saloon, and a flybridge nearly the size of the foredeck and cockpit combined make her as sociable as she is sea-kindly.

What sets this hull apart from nearly every other Squadron 58 on the market is her engine room. "Bellezza" carries the maximum High-Speed-Performance (HSP) option: twin Caterpillar 3406E direct-drive diesels producing 1,600 hp combined - no pods, just simple, legendary, shaft-driven CAT power good for a 32-knot top end and a relaxed 28-knot cruise. With only 1,750 original hours (May 2026), her 1,000-hour service complete and aftercoolers replaced, full annual Caterpillar preventive maintenance performed throughout, and roughly 20 percent of recommended overhaul life consumed, she has decades of cruising still ahead. Propellers were reconditioned by S&S Propeller in 2023, and PropSpeed is renewed annually on all underwater running gear.

She has been refreshed continuously through 2025: a full teak replacement (2025), new AGM batteries and a 100-amp battery charger (2025), a new Dometic VARC60 air-conditioning chiller with raw-water pump and air handlers (2024), Raymarine 125/127 GPS displays and HD radar at dual helm stations, Starlink Wi-Fi with four smart TVs, Lumitec SeaBlaze underwater lighting, a custom Besenzoni OEM tender lift / passerelle, and much more (see equipment list below).

Belowdecks she sleeps six in three staterooms with two heads and two separate stall showers. The full-beam master forward offers an en-suite head and separate shower; the VIP double has private day-head access; and a twin guest cabin converts to a double. The galley is fully equipped - four-burner ceramic cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer - with an adjacent utility room housing a stainless steel fridge stainless steel freezer and 36-bottle wine cooler. "Bellezza" is provisioned for serious extended cruising.

Offered at $499,000, "Bellezza" is an impeccably documented example, with eighteen-plus years of complete service records available for buyer and surveyor inspection. The seller's owned slip on Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton, NY - a private marina authorized for yachts up to 70 feet - is available separately: a rare opportunity to acquire the boat and her Hamptons berth in a single transaction.
