Have a plan (but stay open-minded) Before heading to FLIBS, do some research. Take note of the yachts and exhibitors you’re interested in seeing. Take notes (and photos!) With so many yachts on display, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Take notes and photos of the models that catch your eye to help you compare later. Our Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales representatives can also provide brochures and walk you through the pros and cons of each option.
Explore financing options Many prospective buyers are unaware of the various financing and insurance options available for yachts. Getting Around
Brightline & shuttles: A great option if traveling from Miami or West Palm Beach. Shuttles will take you from the Brightline station to the show entrance. Onsite, you’ll find show shuttles connecting key stops like the Convention Center and Bahia Mar.
Water taxi: Scenic and quick access between venues while skipping traffic.
Day 1: Start at the Convention Center for gear, tech, and boats under 50 feet.
Day 2: Head to Bahia Mar and Las Olas Marina to see the biggest yachts, custom tenders, and center consoles. Superyacht Village is also worth visiting to see the most luxurious side of boating.
JBYS tip: Hit your top picks in the morning before crowds and heat build up, then use the afternoon for dining or relaxing walkthroughs.
What to Wear & Bring
Lightweight clothing and comfortable shoes (many boats require shoes off).
A small crossbody or compact bag with only the essentials: sunglasses, sunscreen, phone, and maybe a light jacket or umbrella.
