The Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht has earned Best of Show honors in the under-60-foot category at FLIBS 2026, continuing an impressive run for Valhalla Boatworks.
The win follows the 55 Sport Yacht’s Best of Show recognition at FLIBS 2025, giving Valhalla back-to-back award-winning Sport Yacht debuts. Both models bring the brand’s performance-focused engineering into the luxury cruising market, combining powerful outboard propulsion with innovative layouts and comfortable overnight accommodations.
For Valhalla, it’s another major milestone in the evolution of its Sport Yacht lineup.

First announced at FLIBS 2025, the all-new Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht has officially arrived. The newest addition to Valhalla Boatworks brings the performance and engineering of the brand’s acclaimed center consoles into a 46-foot cruising yacht designed for owners who want more from their time on the water.
From Center Console Performance to Sport Yacht Comfort
At 46 feet, 7 inches, the new Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht builds on the proven running surface of the V-46 center console, incorporating the Michael Peters Yacht Design double-stepped hull into a completely different boating experience.
Where the V-46 emphasizes offshore fishing capability, the 46 Sport Yacht shifts the focus toward cruising, entertaining and overnight comfort without abandoning the performance characteristics that define Valhalla Boatworks.
The result is an outboard-powered sport yacht with a distinctly different appeal: the speed and handling associated with a high-performance center console, combined with the protection, accommodations and amenities of a luxury cruising yacht.
Open or Enclosed Pilothouse: Two Ways to Enjoy the Water
One of the most significant features of the Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht is the choice between open and enclosed pilothouse configurations, allowing owners to prioritize the boating experience that best suits their needs.
The open pilothouse creates a continuous connection between the helm and cockpit, making it particularly appealing for warm-weather cruising, entertaining and enjoying the outdoors.
The enclosed version adds climate-controlled comfort and weather protection through powered side doors and an aft bulkhead. A powered drop-down window connects the pilothouse with the aft summer kitchen, allowing the space to open up when conditions are right.
Both configurations feature a powered sunroof, three helm chairs and additional seating behind the helm.
For Great Lakes boaters navigating changing weather conditions or Florida owners seeking relief from the summer heat, the enclosed configuration offers a compelling combination of comfort and versatility.
Outdoor Living Takes Center Stage
The 46 Sport Yacht makes excellent use of its outdoor spaces, creating several distinct areas for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the water.
The cockpit features U-shaped seating with a table, while twin powered balcony doors expand the usable deck space and bring guests closer to the water. A portside dive door, integrated boarding ladder and access to the aft platform add convenience for swimming and watersports.
Forward, wraparound bow seating with a table creates another gathering space, complemented by a recessed sunpad above the cabin.
The enclosed pilothouse configuration also introduces an aft summer kitchen with grilling, refrigeration and other entertaining amenities.
These features give the 46 Sport Yacht the flexibility to handle everything from a casual afternoon cruise to a full weekend aboard.
Two Staterooms for Overnight Cruising
Below deck, the Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht offers a two-stateroom layout designed for couples, families and guests.
The forward master stateroom features a walk-around queen berth, while the aft guest stateroom includes twin berths. A split head and shower arrangement provides additional convenience, with access to the head from the galley area.
The galley includes refrigeration, an induction cooktop, microwave and storage for provisions.
For buyers moving up from a large center console or considering an express cruiser, the accommodations represent an important distinction. The 46 Sport Yacht is designed not only for getting out on the water, but for comfortably staying aboard once you reach your destination.
Outboard Power with Valhalla Performance
The Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht is offered with triple or quad Mercury V12 600 Verado outboards, providing powerful propulsion options for owners seeking the performance and maneuverability of a premium outboard-powered yacht.
Its Michael Peters double-stepped running surface is designed to deliver lift, efficiency and responsive handling, while the outboard configuration supports the versatility that has become a hallmark of the Valhalla lineup.
Available equipment includes a Seakeeper 6 stabilization system, joystick-integrated bow thruster and advanced Garmin or Simrad electronics packages.
Below deck, the machinery space provides organized access to critical onboard systems, reflecting the serviceability and engineering considerations associated with Viking and Valhalla construction.
Final performance figures and equipment specifications should be confirmed with the JBYS team as production details are finalized.
A New Direction for Valhalla Boatworks
Founded by Viking Yacht Company in 2019, Valhalla Boatworks built its reputation on high-performance center consoles. The introduction of the 55 Sport Yacht, followed by the award-winning 46 Sport Yacht, marks an exciting expansion into luxury cruising without losing the performance, engineering and innovation that define the brand.
