As the oldest Viking Yacht dealer in the world, we’re thrilled to unveil not just one, but two remarkable new models: the 82 Convertible and the 74 Convertible. These yachts exemplify Viking’s dedication to craftsmanship and innovation, solidifying their position as the premier builder of the world’s largest convertible sportfishing yachts.
Raising the Bar
With decades of experience and a commitment to creating superior vessels, Viking continues to redefine luxury yacht design across all dimensions—speed, performance, ride, maneuverability, and fishability. The introduction of these new models underscores Viking’s unwavering dedication to excellence and innovation.
The 82 Convertible features three versions—Convertible, Enclosed Bridge, and Skybridge. It is set to make its debut at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. With a length overall (LOA) of 82 feet 11 inches and a beam of 21 feet 5 inches, it comes powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines with a total of 2,635mhp. The yacht is expected to reach a top speed of 42 knots at full load, offering luxurious accommodations with five staterooms and six heads.
On the heels of the 82, the 74 Convertible builds on the success of the iconic Viking 72, known for its remarkable speed with 75 hulls built and sold. This new model aims to deliver similar top-end and cruising speeds, driven by a dedicated team with over 25 years of experience. Enhanced performance is achieved through advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics software, focusing on key design elements. It comes powered with twin 2600HP MTUs and boasts four staterooms, each with an ensuite head and a dedicated rod and tackle room.
