Jefferson Beach Yacht Sale’s very own Kevin McNally took to the class room to share his knowledge and expertise on boating safety

He also believes in sharing this knowledge with boaters who are eager to learn more.
Kevin has been boating for over 40 years. His boating experience stretches the entire West Coast from the from the Gulf Islands to San Diego as well as the Great Lakes. He’s a USCG Licensed Captain and safety instructor. Kevin is passionate about boating and demonstrates this passion in all of his marine endeavors. His level of care reaches far beyond the purchase of a new boat. Kevin seeks to guide each individual client through his boating journey as more than a broker, but a boating partner.
Every year Kevin hosts a boating safety class open to all and any who are willing to learn and expand their boating knowledge. This years ‘A to Z’s Boating with Kevin McNally’ held over 30 eager participants comprised of Kevin’s friends, clients, and colleagues. Each participant of the class receives a binder containing a class itinerary and notes to follow along as well as a list of quick references to look back at. Kevin believes the binder is a great tool for boaters to leave on board their boat and look back to whenever they need.
This thorough boating safety class covers boating basics from boating lingo, complete with historical context, to all things boating safety. The course requires six hours to complete, but with Kevin’s passion and creative approach, many attendees comment on how interesting and entertaining the course is.
